ENGAGE905 is a Mississauga-based emerging artist collective, generously funded by the Community Foundation.

Its first project with Amrita Virdi is manifold. Virdi, a painter in Art/Art History at UTM living in Mississauga, selected four sites and completed four expressionist paintings. Each painting became a performative response to the individual site, and actualized her experience of a particular space, at a particular time. Amrita's chosen sites are all within the City of Mississauga, in both public and hidden spaces.
